ADDISON – Elizabeth P. Bagley, 77, died Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, at her home, after losing a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer. She was born May 19, 1933, in Harrington, daughter of the late Reuben and Gladys (Kinghorn) Perry Sr. Elizabeth was married from 1951 to 1973 to Norman F. Bagley Sr., who predeceased her in 2007. Through her employment, she worked as a certified nurse’s aide and later at Perry’s Restaurant making her famous homemade pies, and after that she became a home health care provider. She had a fiery spirit with a heart of gold and dearly loved her family and her poodle, Spike. She loved animals and working in her yard, enjoyed Beano, playing guitar, singing, dancing and was a sincere friend to those who needed one. She is survived by two sons, Norman “Sam” Bagley Jr. and wife, Carol, of Harrington and Chris Bagley of Addison; one daughter, Terry Bagley of Addison; three brothers, Carroll Perry and wife, Barbara, of Addison, Parris Hammond and wife, Sarah, of Harrington and Richard Perry and wife, Penny, of Addison; two sisters, Joan Bailey of Harrington and Brenda Robert and husband, Jeff, of East Windsor, Conn.; four grandchildren, Jenny Tuttle, Morgan Look, Jacob Bagley and Jesse Bagley; and two great-grandchildren, Chloe Look and Micah Look. She was predeceased by her brother, Reuben “Bud” Perry Jr. and wife, Carole; her sisters, Gloria Foss, Rosamond Goodkowsky and Francena Denny; and granddaughter, Kristen Bagley. A celebration of her life will be held 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, at Addison Town Hall. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
