BUCKSPORT – Vinal A. DeWitt Jr., 49, died unexpectedly Dec. 17, 2010, at home. He was born April 30, 1961, in Castine, the son of Vinal A. DeWitt Sr. of Barton, Vt., and Joyce G. Bennett of Bucksport. Vinal attended Bucksport schools and received his diploma from Trenton High School in Florida, and also received degrees from many car dealerships and from Fisher Plow Co. He worked at Bean and Conquest, Dysart’s and as a medical technician at Penobscot Nursing Home. Vinal is survived by his mother, Joyce G. Bennett and her companion, Carl Warman, of Bucksport; father, Vinal DeWitt Sr. of Barton, Vt.; daughter, Brandi Jo DeWitt of Bangor; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Graveside services will be announced in the spring. Arrangements are under the direction of Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 28 Elm St., Bucksport.
