EDDINGTON – Paul and Julie McHatten of Castle Hill are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Kelly Ann McHatten to William Sheehan III, both of Eddington. Will is the son of William and Clara Sheehan of Bucksport. Kelly is a 2002 graduate of Presque Isle High School and a 2007 graduate of Husson College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. Will is a 1990 graduate of Bucksport High School and a 1993 graduate of the University of Maine in Orono. He is employed as a patrol sergeant with the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office. The couple will exchange vows on Aug. 27, 2011, at Penobscot Valley Country Club in Orono, where a reception will be held after the ceremony.
