LINCOLN and INTERLACHEN, Fla. – Michael Frank Coburn, 53, passed away unexpectedly Dec. 18, 2010, at a Palatka, Fla., hospital. He was born June 29, 1957, in Lincoln, the son of Roger Earl Coburn and Charlotte Hazel (Savage) Coburn. Michael was a 1975 graduate of Mattanawcook Academy. He attended the University of Maine at Presque Isle for a year and went to work at Lincoln Pulp & Paper, where he remained until he became disabled from severe back problems. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Michael was a skilled carpenter and passed those talents on to his nephew, Jeremy. He leaves behind a daughter, Amanda Coburn and her husband, David Mosher, of Stillwater; a daughter, Mallory Coburn and her fiance, John Fletcher, of Bradford; an older sister, Rhonda Philbrook and her fiance, Rich Duhaime, of Florida; two special nephews, Jamie Coburn of Old Town and Jeremy Coburn and his wife, Dee; along with two great-nephews, Jacob and Landon, all of Interlachen, Fla. He also leaves his special friend, Helen Renwick of Interlachen, Fla. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, with the Rev.
