PORTLAND, Maine — The Portland Sea Dogs baseball team has a new manager.
Kevin Boles has been named manager for the upcoming season of Maine’s Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. He takes over for Arnie Beyeler, who has been promoted to manage Boston’s Triple-A affiliate, the Pawtucket Red Sox.
The 35-year-old Boles last year was manager of the Red Sox’ Class-A affiliate in Salem, Va.
