He is survived by two sons, Kenneth Ferguson of California and his children, Eric Ferguson of Bangor, Ashley Steward of Bangor, Nathan Waraff of Idaho and Linsey Ferguson of Maryland, and three great-grandchildren, and Eric and Marcia Ferguson and their two children, Heather and Ryan, of North Carolina; two brothers, David and wife, Carolyn Ferguson, of Lincoln and John and Deidra Ferguson of Marco Island, Fla.; one sister, Cheryl and husband, Millard Hatch, of Seboeis Plantation; many nieces and nephews. He is also predeceased by a beloved companion, Ellen Fernald. She is survived by a son, John Fernald and daughter, Shana Fernald, to whom Ken’s family thanks for her many years of care. One of Ken’s earlier jobs was doing groundwork for placement of new homes. It turned into a small business, which he proudly included his two sons. Among many other jobs, Kenneth was a skilled journeyman ironworker for Cianbro Corp. He will be fondly remembered by his co-workers for his great work ethic. His favorite team was the Patriots. He enjoyed watching John Wayne movies and listening to the oldies but goodies. He was proud to be raised as a Master Mason of Composite Lodge No. 168, Lagrange, in October 1973, where he was a member in good standing. He will be missed. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Howland Cemetery. Arrangements with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
