EASTPORT – Ramona C. (Frankland) Moholland, 82, passed away peacefully Jan. 3, 2011, surrounded by her family as she was welcomed home to be with the Lord at Calais Regional Hospital. Ramona was born Oct. 4, 1928, in Calais, to Oscar and Maude (Cossaboom) Frankland. She married Kenneth Moholland March 23, 1950, in Eastport, where they resided and raised their family. She was very active in her church, as a member of Charlotte Baptist Church for 31 years, and recently a member of Perry Bible Fellowship. Ramona enjoyed traveling; she attended several Christian bus tours to Florida with Kenny. In addition to her parents, Ramona was predeceased by two brothers, Harold and Boyd Frankland; a sister, Marie Arnold; and granddaughter, Rachel Moholland. Surviving are her husband, Kenneth L. Moholland; two sons, Kenneth K. Moholland and his wife, Patty, of South Carolina and Blair Moholland and his wife, Kathy, of Robbinston; a sister, Donna Robinson and her husband, William, of Thomaston; a brother, the Rev. Herman “Buddy” Frankland and his wife, Edna, of Holden; six grandchildren, Matthew Moholland of Alexandria, Va., Alicia Balch and her husband, Matthew, of Redding, Calif., Dereck Moholland, Mikayla Myers, Cameron Moholland and Priscilla Myers, all of Robbinston; a great-granddaughter, Molly Balch; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, at Mays Funeral Home-Flagg Chapel, 72 High St., Eastport. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, at Perry Bible Fellowship, Route 1, Perry, with the Rev. Buddy Frankland officiating.
