OLD TOWN and BELFAST – Jennifer Avery and Christopher Albert exchanged wedding vows on June 26, 2010, surrounded by family and friends at Old Town United Methodist Church with Pastor Joan DeSanctis officiating. The reception was held afterward at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bangor. Jenny is the daughter of Gary and Dianne Avery of Old Town. Chris is the son of Bob and Alice Albert of Tamarac, Fla. Jenny’s maid of honor was her cousin Melissa Stormann. Chris’ best man was his friend Jon Langlois. Other friends and family of the wedding party were junior bridesmaid Mckenzie Albert; bridesmaids Jessica Maurais, Diana Dionne, Stephanie Joyce and Ann Kucheryavenko; and flower girl Taylor Sullivan. Groomsmen were Ben Drouin, Jesse Kenney, Mike Deptula and Adam Avery; and ring bearer, Nicholas Sullivan. Greeters were Laura and Sarah Vaillancourt. Readings were given by James Oakes and Jeremy Stormann. Jenny is a graduate of Old Town High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from the University of Maine in 2005. She is employed as a fourth-grade teacher at the Suzanne M. Smith Elementary School in Levant. Chris is a graduate of Mount View High School in Thorndike. He is employed as a corrections officer with the Waldo County Sheriff’s Department. The couple honeymooned in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and reside in Belfast.
