MEDWAY – Colleen L. Smith, 54, wife of Harold R. Smith, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jan. 14, 2011, with her loved ones around her after a brief illness. She was the daughter of Richard J. Jacobs Sr. and Lonie A. (Caswell) Jacobs. Colleen was a loving and caring person and will be dearly missed by so many. She touched so many lives every day. She was well known as a waitress at Country Diner and will be forever missed by her co-workers, as well as her faithful customers. She enjoyed doing many things, but her newest joy was buying her first Harley. She loved the freedom she had while riding. This was a passion she shared with her loving husband, but her biggest passion was family. She enjoyed each and every minute she had with them, especially her grandkids. They were very special to her and they will miss her, but have many memories to hold on to. She was also very fond of her two dogs, Dusty and Smokey, who made her smile and she treated them as if they were her kids. She truly was an amazing woman and will be treasured in the hearts of many. She is survived by her loving mom and devoted husband; as well as her siblings and their spouses, Richard and Linda Jacobs Jr. of Vallejo, Calif., Dean and Paula Jacobs of Sherman, Diane and Don Swallow, Ralph and Lori Jacobs, Joanne and Larry McDonald, and Steve and Diana Jacobs, all of Medway; a brother-in-law, George Smith and wife, Leah, of Carroll; sister-in-law, Mary Russell and husband, Roger, of Mattawamkeag; her daughters, Kristi and husband, Owen Powers, Tammi and fiance, Kevin McAdam, both of East Millinocket, Kari Thompson and Kevin Bernier, and Traci Thompson and Sean Robinson, both of Medway; her stepchildren, Josh and Ellen Smith of Arizona and Amanda Smith and fiance, Kyle Major, of Corinna; her 14 grandchildren, Libby, Tyler, Caleb, Tyler, Cayleigh, Madigan, Abby, Parker, Devon, Gabriel, Carson, Autumn, Mason and Mckenna; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father; a brother, Robert; sisters-in-law, Linda and Virginia; nephew, Robert Jr.; and nieces, Crystal and Sonja.
