BANGOR and HAMPDEN – Aaron J. Bragg, affectionately referred to as “Pail” by many who knew him, died unexpectedly, Jan. 16, 2011, surrounded by people he loved, after a brief illness. He was born Oct. 11, 1979, in Bangor, son of Terry E. and Karen (Williams) Bragg. Aaron attended Hermon High School. He received his master oil burner technician certification as well as a certificate in welding. Aaron worked for Dead River Fuels for eight years and most recently was working for Wayne Bouchard at Bouchard and Son’s Towing as a mechanic. Aaron spent many years racing locally at Speedway 95 with his father. He was a fantastic pool player. He also enjoyed playing poker. In addition to his parents, Aaron will be greatly missed by his son, Jordan; brother, Justin “2-Phat”; sister, Laurie and her husband, Brian, and their two children, Tia and Zac; his long-term partner, Becky Hall and her daughter, Maddie; along with countless more friends and family. In celebration of Aaron’s life, relatives and friends are welcome to attend a memorial service 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Elaine Hewes, pastor of Redeemer Lutheran Church, officiating. The family invites relatives and friends for conversation, refreshments and good laughs at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor, after the service Friday.
