RICHMOND, Va. – Harriet Dobbins Till, 78, formerly of Portsmouth, N.H., died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Levison S. Till; stepson, William Till and Karen; stepdaughter, Judith Lepelley; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; her mother, Ruby Kelly Dobbins; three sisters, Rebecca Bubar, Judith Murdock, and Dottie Rose Higgins and Dennis; also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, James Dobbins; stepson-in-law, Brad Lepelley; and brother-in-law, Steve Murdock. Mrs. Till graduated valedictorian of her class at Jonesport High School. She was the owner of Morse Jewelers, Machias, and will be fondly remembered by her friends at Portsmouth Country Club. A celebration of her life will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, Va. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
