ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – Roxanne (Strong) Cohen, wife of Harris Cohen, passed away Jan. 23, 2011, surrounded by her loving family at home. She was born April 12, 1943, in Worcester, Mass., to Oliver E. and Dorothy (Reynolds) Strong.
Roxanne was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She worked as a bookkeeper for the trucking company that was owned and operated by Roxanne and Harris for 14 years.
In addition to her loving husband of 50 years, Harris, she is survived by her children, Jill of Westbrook, Steven and Tamara of Corpus Christie, Texas, Howard and his companion, Laurie Young, of Northbridge, Mass., and Andrew and Heidi of Corinth. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, a great-granddaughter; a brother, Jack Reynolds; and a sister, Linda (Reynolds) Gill. Roxanne was predeceased by her parents; the special aunt and uncle who raised her as their own, Albert and Freda Reynolds; a brother, Lionel Strong; and a daughter, Dorothy.
At Roxanne’s request, services will not be held. Donations in her honor may be made to a local hospice.
