ST. AGATHA – Warren J. Michaud, 85, passed away peacefully early Thursday morning, Jan. 27, 2011, at Northern Maine Medical Center, after suffering a stroke Monday, Jan. 24, 2011. He was born April 21, 1925, in St. Agatha, the son of Maxime and Ida (Boucher) Michaud. He attended Montfort School, St. Agatha. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 145, Frenchville.
He was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Constance; two brothers, Norman and Clifford; his wife of 58 years, Juliette (Martin); and three children, Margaret Rose, Tommy and Eric Shaun. He is survived by five sons, Jessie and wife, Nancy, of Frenchville, Russell and soul mate, Peggy, of Madawaska, Christopher and wife, Rose, of Fort Kent, Curtis and girlfriend, Karen, of Harrison, Tenn., and Mitch and wife, Gina, of Charlestown, N.H.; three daughters, Maxine of Winslow, Cynthia and husband, Bill, of Hebron, Md., and Vicki of Bangor; 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, at St. Agatha Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to American Heart Association.
