CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Frances “Ruth” Hunter, 87, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at her residence. She was born April 19, 1923, in Bangor, the daughter of James and Frances Kelly McCarron.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Clarksville, Tenn.
She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Joanne Boulier. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Clifford Hunter; daughter, Patty and John Noonan, all of Clarksville; Donald Crosby, who was like a son to her; special friend, Betty Nadeau; dear cousin, Anna Prescott; brother-in-law, Joe Boulier; six nephews, one niece and many other longtime friends.
A celebration of life service will be held 4 p.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel, with visitation 1-4 p.m. Monday.
