CARY PLANTATION – Norma “Dot” Keaton, 84, died Jan. 31, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. She was born July 6, 1926, in Linneus, the daughter of Lester and Olie (Henderson) Boles.

Dot was employed for many years at Elm Tree Diner. She was an active member of Houlton Veterans of Foreign Wars and enjoyed bowling in the Ladies and Couples leagues at Hill Top Lanes. She loved dancing to country music with her husband, Clarence.

Dot is survived by her children, Clarance Keaton of Cary Plantation, Anna Boyce and her husband, Randy, of Mars Hill and Paula Melroy and her husband, Tom, of Ohio; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Terry Boles and his wife, Ginny, of Oakfield; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarance; and her sons, James and Ernest.
