LEWISTON – Bret Phillip Tolman, 51, died unexpectedly Feb. 6, 2011, at his home. He was born July 17, 1959, in Lincoln, son of Alton and Delight (Downs) Tolman.
Bret graduated from Mattanawcook Academy and served in the U.S. Army. He spent most of his life as a welder. Bret was a kind, thoughtful person that loved the outdoors.
In addition to his wife, Ann, and his parents, he is survived by a son, Nicholas; a daughter, Kristina; four brothers and their wives, Bliss and Sheila, Bion and Lisa, Bruce, and Brad and Kathy; four nephews, two nieces; and a special aunt, Geraldine Morse. He will be dearly missed by all.
A memorial service will be held noon-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at the Municipal Building, Mattawamkeag.
