MARSHFIELD – Donna Ann (McCarthur) Corbett, 71, wife of Joseph G. Corbett Jr., died unexpectedly Feb. 11, 2011, at Down East Community Hospital. She was born in Alexander.
Her family was the most important part of her life and she cherished them. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and planting flowers with her husband. One of her loves, was appreciating the hummingbirds feeding at her windows.
She also enjoyed spending extra time playing Farmville and other games with new and old friends.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years of Marshfield; and her two sons, Ricky Corbett of Jonesport and Dean Corbett of Tennessee; her sister, Enid Reynolds of Florida; her three nephews, Frank Campbell of Meddybemps, Bryan Campbell of Baileyville and Jeff Campbell of Baileyville; her four grandchildren, Trisha Corbett of Machiasport, Julie Corbett, Cassie Corbett and James Corbett, all of Bangor; and many friends. She will also be missed by her two dogs, Mandy and Penny.
