VEAZIE – Kenneth R. Mulvey, 77, died Feb. 15, 2011, at his home. He was born April 16, 1933, in Hartford, Conn., son of John and Elsie (Mason) Mulvey.

Kenneth served in the U.S. Army and he worked at Pratt & Whitney in Connecticut for 50 years. He was an avid golfer and was a member of American Legion Post No. 49, Van Buren.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia (Voisine) Mulvey; two daughters, Dianne Mulvey and Lisa Sisson, both of Connecticut; one son, Robert Fongemie of Connecticut; four granddaughters, Holly Champagne, Sarah Champagne, Taylor Sisson and McKenzie Sisson, all of Connecticut; one great-grandson, Nathan Newman of Connecticut; brother, Richard Mulvey and his wife, Dixie, of California; one sister, Shirley Johnson and her husband, Robert, of Florida; two sisters-in-law, Gloria Pelletier and her husband, Darold, of Caswell, and Mona Voisine of Van Buren; special neighbors, Ted and May Purvis, and Paul. Kenneth was predeceased by his parents; and one son, David Mulvey.

Funeral service will be held noon Friday, Feb. 18, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with Richard Mulvey officiating. Relatives and friends are welcome to call 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
