GREEN VALLEY, Ariz. – Richard W. Briggs passed away Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, in Green Valley, Ariz. He was born Feb. 7, 1933, in Lincoln.
He was one of the owners of Briggs Inc. Beverage and Sullivan Ford, Bangor. In 1985 he moved to Tucson, Ariz., where he opened Pure Water Natures Way store.
Richard is survived by his partner, Joyce; children, Allen, Roger, Joey and Becky Briggs; stepson, Scott Gardner; brothers, Peter and Allison Briggs; and sisters, Joan Griffin and Susan McEachern. He was predeceased by siblings, Murray Briggs and Jeanette Smith.
At Richard’s request, there will be no services.
