NEW GLOUCESTER, Maine — Two men were seriously injured Wednesday morning after the pickup trucks they were driving were involved in a head-on crash, police say.
Joshua Campbell, 29, of Auburn and Keith Rogers, 42, of New Gloucester, are being treated at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, according to a press release from the Maine Department of Public Safety.
The crash took place around 6:45 a.m. after Campbell veered into the other lane while driving on Route 100 near Morse Road and struck Rogers’ pickup head-on, the release said. Neither men were carrying passengers and speed does not appear to be a factor.
Both men suffered serious internal injuries but are expected to recover, the release stated.
