John Osborne, general manager of Hollywood Slots Hotel & Raceway, has been named chairman of the board of the Greater Bangor Convention & Visitors Bureau. Osborne began his term in January of this year. Osborne has been the General Manager of Hollywood Slots Hotel & Raceway since September of 2009. Prior to that, Osborne was VP of operations and GM of the Hollywood Casino Resort in Tunica, Miss., for nearly 12 years.
