GUILFORD – Sharon K. O’Connell, 71, died March 10, 2011, at her home. She was born July 18, 1939, in Dover-Foxcroft, daughter of Carl and Alice (Pearson) McKusick.
Sharon was an active member of Guilford United Methodist Church. She was a stain glass crafter and worked with her parents at their “Sun Porch Studio,” Guilford. She also enjoyed spending time at the family camp at Davis Pond.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. O’Connell, in 1997. She is survived by three daughters, Amy E. O’Connell and her husband, John McAlevey, of Silver Creek, N.Y., Lisa M. Levasalmi and her husband, Juha-Matti, of Delmar, N.Y., and Diane Czarnick of Troy, N.Y.; two brothers, John McKusick and his wife, Sharon, of Abbot and Kent McKusick of Laconia, N.H.; grandchildren, Corey, Myra and Jack McAlevey, and Ella, Heikki and Matti Levasalmi; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, at Guilford United Methodist Church with Pastor Stephen Dean officiating. Spring burial will be at Lawn Cemetery, Guilford.
