BANGOR – Jo-Ellen “Jody” Albert, 63, died March 14, 2011, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born Jan. 9, 1948, in Bangor, the daughter of Val Joseph Albert and Dorothy Ellen (Hodgins) Albert.Jody was a resident of Westgate Manor for more than 40 years, where she received wonderful, loving care. She touched the hearts and lives of many people. Jody attended Bangor Day Activity Center and later Amicus/Bouchea Center for Learning.She was predeceased by her parents; paternal grandparents, Frank and Amelia (Theriault) Albert; maternal grandparents, Everett and Alice (Thomson) Hodgins; and several cousins. Surviving are her uncle, Ned Hodgins Sr. and his wife, Bonnie, of Bangor; and several cousins.A service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, March 21, at Westgate Manor, 750 Union St., Bangor, with the Rev. Dr. Mark Allen Doty, pastor of Hammond St. Congregational Church, officiating. Spring interment will be at North Brewer Cemetery.
