CARIBOU – Susan Katherine Devoe, 44, died March 17, 2011, in Caribou. She was born Feb. 23, 1967, at Bristol, Conn., the daughter of Edward A. and Jacqueline (Bosse) Devoe.

She was a graduate of Bangor High School, Class of 1992.

Susan was recognized by Penobscot Job Corps for second place in the Culinary Arts Program and was Student of the Year for the Northeast Job Corps region. She attended Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Susan is survived by her mother, Jacqueline of Caribou; a daughter, Jessica Devoe of Caribou, who was the greatest love of her life; one brother, Christopher Devoe and his wife, Tina, of Buckeye, Ariz.; two sisters, Janet Nelligan and her husband, Michael, and Kimberly Crawford and her husband, Andy, all of Holden; two nieces, Madison and Allison; and three nephews, Blake, Brett and Aaron. She was predeceased by her father, Edward; and a son Nicolas Devoe.

Friends may call 6 p.m. until the time of service Monday, March 21, at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Monday from the chapel of the funeral home with the Very Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie, pastor, officiating. Spring interment will take place at New Holy Rosary Cemetery.
