Brewer’s Jessica Hodsdon, a sophomore swimmer for Bentley College, earned All-American recognition following her performances at the NCAA Division II National Swimming and Diving Championships in San Antonio last week.
The breaststroker finished sixth in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1 minute, 3.5 seconds. Earlier in the meet, Hodsdon set Bentley records in her 33rd-place finish in the 200 individual medley (2:09.7) and her 18th-place finish in the 200 breaststroke (2:23.59).
Drury College of Springfield, Mo., won the championship for the third consecutive year.
