PRESQUE ISLE – Rose M. Soucie, 44, passed away March 22, 2011, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born March 23, 1966, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Freeman R. and Shirley E. (Flanders) Philbrook.
Rose was a graduate of Presque Isle High School and later married Wayne Soucie, June 11, 1982. She loved to sew, make quilts, cross-stitch and knit. Rose enjoyed camping at Southwest Harbor and other places with an oceanfront view.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne of Presque Isle; a son, Nicholas and his wife, Terra; two daughters, Jasmine and April Soucie, all of Presque Isle; and three grandchildren, Jacob, Alex and Julian. She also leaves behind four brothers, Stanley Philbrook and his wife, Donna, of Presque Isle, Leroy Philbrook and his wife, Gail, of Etwoch, N.C., Marcus Philbrook and his wife, Vonda, and Benjamin Philbrook, all of Presque Isle; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Stella Myshrall; and a brother, Larry Philbrook.
