BANGOR – Leroy C. Carrow, 71, husband of Brenda (Carter) Carrow, died April 1, 2011, at his home in Levant. He was born April 25, 1939, in Levant, the son of Charles H. and Ella R. (Rines) Carrow.

Leroy worked for AJ Cole as a mechanic for 23 years and for H.E. Cliff and Sons for six years. He was a member of Levant Volunteer Fire Department for many years.

Surviving are his wife of Levant; two sons, Larry Carrow and his wife, Sarah, and Joey Carrow and his wife, Brandy, all of Levant; his grandchildren, Steven, Michaela and Christopher; two sisters, Geneva Torrey and her husband, Cliff, of Vermont and Cindy Jason and her husband, Terry, of Orono; a sister-in-law, Donna Carrow of Glenburn; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and a younger brother, Erwin Carrow. He will be remembered by many “adopted” family members and special friends. Leroy’s family gratefully thanks Dr. Adam Lauer and his staff, the staff of St. Joseph Hospital, Premiere Home Health Care, BAVN, West Levant Church of God and Levant Volunteer Fire Department for their love, care, concern and support.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Leroy’s life 11 a.m. Saturday, April 16, at Levant Fire Department, corner of Townhouse Road and Union Street, Levant.
