LINCOLN – A. Frank Nason, 66, died April 10, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. He was born April 21, 1944, in Bangor, the son of Arthur H. and Fannie M. (Murphy) Nason.
Frank was a graduate of Bangor High School and worked as a certified nurse’s aide at Bangor Mental Heath Institute, Bangor, for 27 years. He was an avid reader and outdoorsman.
Surviving are three children, Eric Nason and his wife, Sally, of Bangor, Annette Ross and her husband, Allan, of Lincoln and Kris Nason of Round Lake Beach, Ill.; his fiancee, Carolyn McNally of Lincoln; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Nellie Guptill of Hermon, Katherine “Kitty” Cotton of Eddington and Patricia Smith of Waldoboro; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. Cremation arrangements by Cremation Basics, Inc., Bangor.
