BAR HARBOR – Anne T. Reed, 86, died April 9, 2011, in Bar Harbor. She was born April 30, 1924, in Minneapolis, the daughter of George C. and Mabel (Freeman) Tuttle.
She was a faithful employee of Northeast Harbor Library for 20 years, she enjoyed reading and doing puzzles. Anne was a member of Union Church of Northeast Harbor.
She is survived by two grandchildren, Tiffany and Kristopher; and two great-grandchildren, Zane and Abigail. Anne was predeceased by her husband, Elwood Reed Jr.; two sons, Lee and Nelson; one brother, James Tuttle; and two sisters, Elizabeth Lyman and Helen Murdoch.
