BELFAST, Maine — The Waldo County YMCA is seeking volunteers to fill these positions:
Summer Day Camps
• Head track coach for Summer Youth Track Program.
Practice, 6-7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Belfast Area High School. The coach will travel to various towns for meets which begin at 2 p.m. The schedule runs from Tuesday June 21-Saturday, Aug, 13. See Adam at the Y to obtain a volunteer application.
Scamper Camp for children ages 3 to 5
• General camp help.
Camp Koda for children in preschool to grade two
• General camp help.
• Dance instructor, a volunteer willing to teach simple dances to the children.
Camo Nedobak for children in grades three-seven
• Nature skills teacher to teach children to identify leaves, trees, butterflies, grasses etc.
• Knot tying instructor.
• General camp helpers.
Camp runs June 27-August 19. If you are available for a week or more and would like to help, please fill out a volunteer application.
