EAST ORLAND – Erselene G. Nightingale, 81, died April 28, 2011, at an Ellsworth hospital.
She was born Feb. 23, 1930, in Starks, daughter of Roy and Ina Harris.
She loved being a mom and grandmother to her family. She will be greatly missed.
Erselene is survived by her daughter, Deborah Nightingale; her son, Gary Nightingale; her four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald K. Nightingale; her daughter, Diane Hardie; as well as her parents, brothers and sisters. Many thanks go to the staff at Golden Acres, Hancock, for her great care, and a big thanks to Dr. Trenkle.
Per her wishes, there will be no services. There will be a private burial at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 28 Elm St., Bucksport.
