DOVER FOXCROFT, Maine — The Piscataquis Regional YMCA will celebrate with its Spring Sports Kickoff cookout party at 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 13, at the YMCA, 48 Part St. in Dover-Foxcroft.

Hooked On Fishing invites youths to events
DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine — The Hooked On Fishing program events for youth 15 years old and younger from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, starting May 14, at Kiwanis Park in Dover-Foxcroft; May 21, on Drummond Pond in Abbot; June 4, Kiwanis Park in Dover-Foxcroft.
A Hooked On Fishing Special Event will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, May 29, at Drummond Pond in Abbot. Adults and youth of all ages team up for a day of trout fishing. A limited number of fishing rods will be available.
This is part a special weekend in Maine called “Free Family Fishing Days” when fishing licenses are not required for youth or adults. For more information call Jim Ellis at 343-0503.
