The Frankfort Village Fire Department is holding a Mother’s Day plant sale 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the fire station, Route 1A, Frankfort. Pansies, hanging baskets, herbs, shrubs and many more flowers will be on sale to raise funds for vinyl siding and a metal roof for the fire station.
The boots of Fire Chief Earl Anderson, 64, who is undergoing treatment at Eastern Maine Medical Center, will be available for those who wish to donate funds to help defray his medical expenses.
