ETNA – Orilla B. Page, 88, died May 5, 2011, at a Pittsfield hospital after a long illness. She was born May 14, 1922, in Oakland, daughter of Lafayette and Elvira Cochran.
Orilla was married to Rodney C. Page, who predeceased her. They made their home in Etna. She loved to cook, knit, crochet, sew, work in her gardens, can her produce, and take care of her beloved husband, Rodney, and her family. She made all of their clothes. She was an incredible woman – strong, loving, caring and patient. She was greatly loved by her entire family and will be sadly missed.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rodney; three sons, Robert R. Page, Wayne M. Page and Dean A. Page; several brothers and sisters. She is survived by two sons, Roderick A. Page of Saco and Duane S. Page and his wife, Rose, of Old Town; two daughters, Audri L. McAtee of Etna and Rodena S. Clowry and her husband, Rick, of Harmony; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
