AUGUSTA, Maine — In accordance with a presidential proclamation, Gov. Paul LePage has directed that the U.S. flag and the State of Maine flag be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset Sunday, May 15.
The flags will be lowered in honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day and Police Week, which will be observed May 15-21.
