HANCOCK – Estelle Dorothy Goodwin, 83, died peacefully May 13, 2011, at a Bar Harbor health care facility. She was born Sept. 16, 1927, in Deer Isle, the daughter of Kimball A. and Gertrude (Stinson) Shepard.
She married Earl Goodwin, July 4, 1985. Estelle took great pride in caring for her home. She was an active church member and enjoyed reading her Bible.
She is survived by her stepson, Richard Goodwin and wife, Jacie; daughter, Beverly Dow and husband, Darrell; and extended family members. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Earl, in 2006.
