Hospice care session
SEARSPORT — Hospice Volunteers of Waldo County will present an informational session at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 2, at the Carver Memorial Library. Topics will include hospice and palliative care services, eligibility and end-of-life planning. Refreshments will be served.

Pet therapy class
DAMARISCOTTA — Join professional dog trainer Jean Conte for a six-session class at 5 p.m. Thursdays, beginning June 2, at Spectrum Generations Coastal Community Center, 521 Main St., and master the first steps toward being evaluated by Therapy Dog International and to becoming a therapy dog team.
The $70 participant fee is payable to the instructor. For more information or to register, call 563-1363. All ages welcome as well as dogs (and their best friends) who are interested in learning more about becoming a Canine Good Citizen. Registration deadline is June 1. Minimum class size is five participants.
