WOODLAND – Edwin W. Skidgel, 80, died May 24, 2011, in Caribou. He was born March 14, 1931, in Woodland, son of Jerry and Carrie (Libby) Skidgel.
He was employed in the farming industry for several years.
He is survived by a brother, Cecil Skidgel and his wife, Wynonna, of South Carolina; a sister, Barbara Johndro and her husband, Roger, of Limestone; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by seven brothers and five sisters.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, May 27, at Woodland Cemetery with the Rev. Ron Rosser officiating. Arrangements are by Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou. For an online register, please go to
