ELLSWORTH – Karl H. Richard moved on May 13, 2011, from this life into his next. Karl was son of the late parents: his father, Charles H. Richard, who passed in 1975, and his beloved mother, Marjorie C. Richard, who passed in 2010.
Karl is survived by his siblings: his brother, Robert Richard and his wife, Lee, of Frankfort and his sister, Ruberta Becker and her late husband, Ronald Becker, of Lamoine. Karl has a son, Damien Richard and family of Reno, Nev. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, Mary Leighton and husband, Larry, Phillip Becker and wife, Renee, Michael Becker and wife, Christine, Ronald Becker and wife, Rene, and Linda Gonyer and husband, Chris; many great-nieces and great-nephews, Christopher, Wayne, Jasmine, Elizabeth, Larry, Mike Jr., Matthew, Kayla, Danielle, Joshua, Jessica, Brandon and Willow; many great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Karl loved adventure and the outdoors. He lived his life mostly as a public servant and would help anyone that asked. He will be sadly missed by family, his second family, his friends and co-workers of Mount Desert Island, and his special friend, Joe. He will be missed by all that knew him.
