ROCKWOOD – Leticia Eurich, 94, passed away Friday, May 13, 2011, at Charles A. Dean Nursing Home, Greenville. She was born Dec. 21, 1916, in Medellin, Colombia, daughter of Ricardo Cano Isaza and Dolores (Lola) Rivera Cano.
Letty was an accomplished gardener and watercolor painter, and was known for her beautiful perennial gardens and love of flowers. She spent most of her life in Colombia before moving to Florida and Rockwood with her husband, William C. Eurich.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Eduardo Hincapie Montoya and is survived by their daughter, Maria Cecilia Hincapie‚ Cano of Medellin, Colombia. Letty was also predeceased by her husband, William C. Eurich, in 2007, and is survived by their children, William C. Eurich of Greenville/Rockwood, and Hilda Stade of Pittston. She is also survived by her husband’s daughters, Rosemary Borges of Oakton, Va., Karen Lampton of Maryland and Julie Ouellette of Rockwood; as well as many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Friend are invited to join the family 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Church, Greenville, where a Mass of Christian burial will begin 11 a.m. Burial will be at a later date at the Rockwood cemetery. Arrangements by Greenlawn Funeral Directors, Bangor.
