BANGOR – Kenneth T. Burgess, 79, died May 23, 2011, at a Bangor rehabilitation center. He was born Oct. 3, 1931, in Orono, son of Richard D. and Irene (Gonyer) Burgess.
Surviving are three children, Amy Rines and her husband, Roger, of Chesapeake, Va., Thomas Burgess and his wife, Valerie, of Carmel and Stephen Burgess of Levant; four grandchildren, Amber Glatt and Shawn, Ashley and Brandon Burgess; one brother, Dalas Burgess and his wife, Betty, of Bangor; and one sister, Catherine Dekowski of Victoria, Texas.
Family and friends may visit his family beginning 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, at Common Room, Northwood Apartments, 42 Husson Ave., Bangor.
