BANGOR, Maine — The Hampden Highlands United Methodist Church Youth Group will hold an “All Christian Music Skate” from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at Great Skates Entertainment Center, 82 Sylvan Road.
The event is open to skaters of all ages. The cost is $3.50 per person plus skate rentals of $1.50 regular skates or $3 for in-line skates.
Fifty cents of each admission goes to the Youth Group for a mission project.

‘An Evening with Elvis’ to benefit Grace UMC
BANGOR, Maine — “An Evening with Elvis,” featuring Bruce Nye — the Elvis Guy, will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 24, at the Spectacular Event Center, 395 Griffin Road.
Tickets are $20, or a table for eight may be reserved for $140. Tickets are available at Grace United Methodist Church, 193 Union St., Bangor, and at the door. Proceeds will benefit Grace’s community outreach programs. For information, call 942-8320.
Vacation Bible school planned at St. Mary’s in Bangor
BANGOR, Maine — Panda Mania, a vacation Bible school program, will be held for children ages 4 through grade five from 9 a.m. to noon July 11-15, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 768 Ohio St.
Activities will include Bible-learning experiences that children can see, hear, touch and taste. Crafts, team-building games, hymns and treats are just a few of the Panda Mania activities planned.
