WINTER HARBOR – Claranne Pitt, 86, died peacefully Jan. 22, 2011, at an Ellsworth hospital. She was born May 30, 1924, in South Gouldsboro, daughter of the late Kenneth S. and Abigail (Freeman) Hamilton, and beloved sister of the late Elizabeth Young.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 11, at Gouldsboro United Methodist Church, Old Route 1, Gouldsboro. Burial will be at South Gouldsboro Cemetery.
