STETSON – Elbridge C. Chick, 73, died June 10, 2011, at a Bangor health care facility. He was born Jan. 15, 1938, at Great Pond, a son of Linwood and Ethel (MacDonald) Chick.
He had been employed at L. E. Jordan & Sons, Ellsworth, retiring in 1996.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; his sister, Verna of Ellsworth; children, Linda Risely of Ellsworth, Rose Chick of Bangor, Gloria Henderson of Truro, Canada, and Wade Chick of Waltham; stepchildren, Brenda Closson of Madison, Brent Scott of Corinna, Michael Scott of Dexter, Reggie Scott of Orono and Cecil Scott III of Stetson; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Bear; and dear friends, Clyde and Theresa Gray and Ray Foss.
