FRENCHVILLE – Ronald “Butch” Bouchard, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, was taken away from us June 12, 2011, while surrounded by his family, at the age of 64, after a long fight with cancer. He was born Sept. 12, 1946, in Frenchville, son of Lawrence and Queenie Bouchard of Frenchville.
He served in the U.S. Army, retired from Maine Department of Transportation as supervisor, and was a member of Frenchville Fire Department, Knights of Columbus and American Legion Post No. 145, Frenchville.
He is survived by his wife, Jacinthe (Parent) Bouchard of Frenchville; one son, Scott of Frenchville; two daughters Tina and fiance, Keith Paradis, of Eagle Lake and Pamela and AJ Granatowski of Wallagrass; one brother, Harold and his wife, Violette, of Frenchville; and two sisters and their husbands, Geneve and Clarence Berube of East Hartford, Conn., and Joan and Aurel Lavoie of Frenchville. He was grandfather to Kelsey, Ramsey, Kylie, Selena, Brenden and Nathanial; and uncle to several nieces and nephews. You are loved and will be missed by many. Strength, faith and courage. He was predeceased by his parents.
Friends and relatives may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 8:30-9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Michaud Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Luce Catholic Church with the Rev. Richard Ouellette officiating.
