WINDHAM – Mary L. Caron, 69, of Tandberg Trail and formerly of Gorham, went home to be with her Lord, Monday, June 20, 2011. Mary was born at home, Jan. 6, 1942, in Howland, a daughter of Oaklley and Minnie York Giles.

She graduated from Howland High School in 1960 where she was very active in sports. Mary moved to Portland in 1960, where she worked in the financial field and raised her family.

She is the mother of two very loved children, Scott E. Caron and wife, Joanne, of Lewiston and Denise M. Caron Manchester and her partner, David Seavey, of Standish, whom she loved dearly. She also leaves her grandchildren, Amanda Manchester and her fiance, Donald LaRock, of Leicester, Vt., Scott Manchester of Gorham, Brandon and Benjamin Caron of St. George and David Seavey Jr., of Portland. She also leaves behind three very dear great-granddaughters, Brea Marie, Emma Mae and Callie Dawn of Leicester, Vt.; four sisters, Elizabeth Foster Demont of Milford, Lila Lindquist and husband, Victor, of Lincoln; Clarice Stanley and husband, Avon, of Howland and Sandra Lindquist, also of Howland; a very dear niece, Lynn Lloyd of Howland; several other nieces, nephews and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents; one sister, Mona Neal, and brother-in-law, Robert Neal.

A period of visitation will be held 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, June 25, at Dolby and Dorr Funeral Chapel, 76 State St., Gorham, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Eastern Cemetery, Gorham.
