BRUNSWICK – Rhonda Greenlaw Hartley died June 18, 2011, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Rhonda grew up in Topsham and Isle au Haut. She attended Brunswick and Mount Ararat schools. Rhonda was a valued employee of Sea Bags, where she was instrumental in the start-up and management of their Freeport store. She enjoyed boats, fishing, beaches, motorcycles and line dancing, horses, and was a vicious cribbage player. She loved animals and at one time raised blue tick hounds. Rhonda was a proud Mainer.
Rhonda is survived by her husband, Michael Fournier of Brunswick; daughter and son, Mattie and Drew Hartley of Brunswick; parents, James and Martha Greenlaw of Isle au Haut; sister, Linda Greenlaw; niece, Sarai Johnson, both of Isle au Haut; sister and brother-in-law, Bif and Ben Shissler of Harpswell; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Jennifer Greenlaw of Portland; nephews, Aubrey and Addison Greenlaw of Portland; best friend, Cheryl Flanagan Wright of Brunswick; many devoted and loving cousins and friends.
We will be having a gathering for friends and relatives to celebrate Rhonda’s life 4 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at Joshua’s Tavern, Maine Street, Brunswick. In lieu of flowers, a tribute to Rhonda may be sent to CHANS Home Health Care, 60 Baribeau Drive, Brunswick, ME 04011.
