MADISON, N.H. — Authorities investigating a string of suspicious fires in Madison, N.H., are looking for the owner or operator of a blue Jeep Wrangler.
The vehicle has a white top and a Maine license plate with pine tassels and a chickadee.
Fire officials say more than a dozen suspicious fires have occurred over the last month in the town on the edge of the White Mountains.
Investigators said Friday that they want to speak to the Jeep’s owner or operator and are asking anyone who knows the vehicle or owner to call Madison police.
