WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Allison Marie Ringwood, 56, passed away June 21, 2011, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was born Nov. 28, 1954, in Lincoln, to Dick and Rosemary Tracy.

She served her country in the U.S. Air Force, joining in 1975. Allison married Charley Ringwood, April 3, 1982, at Pease Air Force Base in New Hampshire. After active duty retirement as a master sergeant, she and her family settled in Wichita Falls, Texas. Allison received Instructor of the Quarter and Instructor of the Year many times during her career in the Air Education Training Command. She was also a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans and active in the Meals on Wheels program.

Allison was predeceased by her parents; and her sister, Veronica. She is survived by her husband, Charley Ringwood, of Wichita Falls, Texas; two sons, Chuck Ringwood and wife, Joy, of Manteca, Calif., and Jason Ringwood of Wichita Falls, Texas; sister, Kathy Tracy of Wichita Falls, Texas; and four grandchildren, Marissa, McKenzie, Kimberly and Zackery.

Memorials services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 27, at Lunn’s Colonial Funeral Home, Wichita Falls, Texas, with Chaplain Jason Kloncnick officiating. Tributes may be sent to the family at
