HOULTON – Jeffrey V. Hardy, 54, died June 23, 2011, at an Orono health care facility. He was born April 17, 1957, in Houlton, the son of Vinal G. and Audrey (Paul) Hardy.
Jeff was a member of Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians and a communicant of St. Mary of the Visitation Church. He was employed for many years in the construction field.
Jeff is survived by his mother of Fredericton, New Brunswick; four daughters, Jasmine Hardy of Houlton, Monica Hardy of Lewiston, Violet Hardy and Maria Hardy, both of Ellsworth; three grandchildren, Madison, Dominic and Jocelyn; five brothers, Patrick Hardy of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Calvin Hardy and Jay Hardy, both of Houlton, Timothy Hardy and Earl Hardy, both of Fredericton, New Brunswick; four sisters, Brenda Commander of Houlton, Lorraine Hardy-Grimmer of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Deana MacPherson of Hollis and Lisa Hardy of Houlton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased his father and his infant sister, Lori Lynn.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Dunn Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary of the Visitation Church with the Rev. David Raymond, celebrant.
